I am a PhD student in Finance at the Leeds School of Business, University of Colorado Boulder. My research focuses on empirical corporate finance, private equity, innovation, machine learning, and cryptocurrency markets.

Before joining CU Boulder, I completed an M.S. in Economics with a minor in Mathematics at Tarbiat Modares University and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering (Food Machinery specialization) at the University of Tehran.

Outside of academics, I played competitive volleyball during my undergraduate years. I also practice Avaz, the traditional art of Persian singing, and play the Ney. I enjoy exploring nature and observing wildlife and spending time with family and friends.
