I am a PhD candidate in Finance at the Leeds School of Business, University of Colorado Boulder. My research focuses on empirical corporate finance, innovation, and machine learning applications in finance.

Before joining CU Boulder, I earned an M.S. in Economics with a minor in Mathematics from Tarbiat Modares University and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering (Food Machinery) from the University of Tehran.

Outside academia, I serve as President of the Iranian Student Organization at CU Boulder, working to promote Iranian culture and arts. I played competitive volleyball as an undergraduate, practice Avaz (traditional Persian vocal music), and play the Ney. I also enjoy nature, wildlife, and time with family and friends.
